These are to help you understand Rignet and Paragon policies regarding what is and is not acceptable for use and why any un-acceptable traffic may be blocked. Refer to the Acceptable Use policy in PIMS for the current Paragon policy.
- Who is my CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator?
Your CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator is the local person at your site location responsible for approving all requests for access to the CrewWifi 2.0 network. Typically, this person will be the Rig Manager or Electrician on the rig, but may be different depending on your rig requirements.
- How long does it take to get my access approved?
It is up to your CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator to approve/deny user requests. When you sign up for an account, a request for access will be sent to the CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator, and a confirmation email will be sent to you. The CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator will decide when and how to approve your account. Please contact your CrewWIFI2.0 Administrator for account related issues.
- What do I do if I forget my password?

If you do not remember the answer to your secret question, you will need to re-register and go through the approval process again.
- What are the limits of my connection?
- Users are allotted 100 MB every 24 hours
- If this limit is reached, the user will be logged off and will have to wait 24 hours until they can establish a new session
- Sessions will time out after one hour to prevent unintentional use of data by background applications
- If no bandwidth is consumed for 15 minutes, the user will be logged out
- Am I able to have multiple devices logged in at the same time?
No. Users are only allowed to have one device active at a time. Always remember to log your session out when not in use so that you will not be impacted if you switch to a different device.
